100% Climate Disclosure is a joint academic and industry initiative which seeks to address the challenge of incomplete greenhouse gas emissions reporting by companies worldwide.
The current lack of clarity surrounding emissions disclosures makes it impossible to fully understand the impact a company is having on climate change. Investors and other stakeholders are increasingly calling for greater transparency in climate related disclosures.
100% Climate Disclosure seeks to address this issue by recognising firms who report 100% of their greenhouse gas emissions.
Our vision is to expand our membership base and we encourage every firm to join the club and commit to 100% coverage of greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
100% Climate Disclosure supports the Financial Centres for Sustainability (FC4S) initiative by assessing the authenticity of corporate claims of “greenness”. Thereby overcoming information asymmetries that previously hindered the contribution of financial centres to financing a green and sustainable economy.
